New bespoke D-type water tube boiler designed, manufactured, and supplied by Thorne International Boiler Services Ltd. in 2019 to an overseas sugar refinery to increase existing plant capacity.

- Two-stage superheater design with interstage non-contact attemperation utilised for superheated steam temperature control.
Boiler supplied with two low-NOx burners capable of firing on heavy fuel oil and light fuel oil, with a 6:1 turndown, combustion air forced draft fan, BMS and integrated boiler control system.
Standalone economiser supplied to provide an overall boiler system efficiency of 92% at MCR.
Steam sootblowers provided throughout boiler for online cleaning of tube banks.
Viewing ports included throughout boiler for viewing condition of boiler heating surfaces.
Supplied by Thorne International Boiler Services Ltd. FOB to client who have since installed, commissioned, and brought boiler online successfully.
